Backseat Math is a tool for practicing elementary level arithmetic.
Backseat Math uses the same principles as those used with pencil and paper; this includes "carrying" in addition and multiplication, and "regrouping" (borrowing) in subtraction.
This application is designed to strengthen, through practice, the principles used when teaching arithmetic.
Backseat Math can be used by multiple individuals. Each user has independent controls over which operations (addition, subtraction, division and / or multiplication) and the level of difficulty for each operation. A history of the results for each operation is kept per player.
The application allows for the user to enter the solution with two different methods, writing or typing.
